Sweet, simple, and straight from the South — this Georgia Pecan Chess Pie bakes up with a golden top, a soft custard filling, and plenty of toasted pecans.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup White granulated sugar
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup melted margarine
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 pie shell, unbaked
Method
- Add sugars and flour; mix well.
- Add margarine and whip.
- Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix well and pour into pie shell.
- Sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. The best pecan pie ever!!
